Vintage 18k yellow gold diamond white opal cluster ring

€0

A fine opal’s beauty is elusive and challenging to capture in words. Writers have compared opals to volcanoes, galaxies, and fireworks. Admirers gave famous opals poetic names like “Pandora,” “Light of the World,” and “Empress.” In ancient Rome, this gem symbolized love and hope. The Romans gave it a name—opalus—that was synonymous with “precious stone.”

For sale a beautiful 18K yellow gold ring featuring a white opal cabochon surrounded by a frame of diamonds. The opal is prong set and open backed. It measures 10mm in height and 7mm in width. The stone has a translucent white body color with mainly green and blue play of fire. There are in total 12 diamonds surrounded the opal, for an estimated weight of approximately 0.3cts. All together, they create a beautiful cluster design which offers a larger size visual effect when the ring is worn.

The enigmatic shimmer that the opal makes the ring seem as if it belongs to another, more magical, world entirely.  And perhaps that is why we can’t seem to get enough of it.

The ring is easily resizable at buyer’s cost, please contact us before you pass your order.
