Vintage Gay Frères 18K gold Panther Ring
A striking feline ring crafted during the 1960s, by the famous jewelry atelier Gay Frères. This sculptural piece is masterfully handmade in solid 18-karat yellow gold and features a beautifully modeled panther head, enhanced with applications of black hot enamel to recreate the animal’s distinctive skin pattern.
The panther’s gaze is brought to life by two natural red rubies, totaling approximately 0.10 carats, expertly mounted as the eyes to add a vivid and captivating contrast.
Founded in Geneva, Gay Frères has upheld a legacy of excellence for over 170 years. Initially focusing on hand-crafted gold chains, they also created standalone luxury jewellery that showcased the fine metalworking expertise. Their creations have long been sought after by collectors and prestigious retailers worldwide. Today, the house is owned by Rolex, continuing its tradition of superior craftsmanship.
