Vintage 18K gold jade diamond drop earrings
A striking pair of 18K white gold earrings beautifully illustrating the fascination with Asian-inspired motifs and the way they were reinterpreted through European jewelry design.
Each earring features two jade disc panels, with the larger central disc beautifully encircled by diamonds and suspended from a smaller jade disc above. The two sections are connected by articulated diamond-set links, allowing the earrings to move gracefully and creating a beautiful, fluid drop when worn.
The earrings are set throughout with transitional-cut diamonds, with a total estimated diamond weight of approximately 1.6 carats (80 diamonds × approximately 0.02 carat each). The combination of luminous jade, crisp diamonds, and geometric minimalist construction creates an especially elegant contrast.
Fitted with clip closures designed for pierced ears, they are wonderfully comfortable to wear while retaining the sophisticated presence of a true statement jewel.
The way how the hallmarks were stamped and the quality of the work both reflect a work of a renewed maison, unfortunately the maker's mark is too erased for us to investigate more.
