Boxed Victorian era gold pearl miniature portrait pendant
For sale a rare piece of miniature portrait pendant, featuring a lovely young lady in a white lace dress. The pendant is made during the 19th century, the Victorian era and it is very probably an English work.
The miniature has a large size of 37mm in diameter and it is surrounded by 43 white natural pearls. It is stamped with the clover hallmark for 9K gold on the bale. The pendant comes in its own box, adding lots of charm to the pendant.
The first time we saw her portrait, we got immediately attracted by the placid smile of the young lady. Not mentioning her elegant hair and dressing, including the gold chain necklace on her neck. The whole piece is realized with such a refinement that we can barely take our eyes of her.
This Victorian era, beautiful miniature portrait pendant has a museum level quality, it is a rare piece to add or to offer to any antique jewelry lovers.
