Perhaps the best-loved gems of all time, pearls are coveted as symbols of wealth and status for thousands of years. For sale a timeless 18K gold pearl dangle sleeper earrings, dated back to the 19th century, the Victorian era.

On each side of the earrings, 7 seed pearls form a sweet flower shape. Despite of their age, they’ve conserved a soft and creamy luster. Their versatility and long history give them a magnetic allure; Their slightly irregularity in forms make them even more appealing to our eyes. These earrings have a “back to front” closing for pierced earrings.

The sleeper earrings (or dormeuse in French) were often worn to bed to keep the earlobe hole from closing during the mourning period of Queen Victorian, when ears were covered by hair and could not be seen. They are hence very comfortable to be worn and can be paired easily with any outfit.
