Curiously timeless
Victorian era 18K gold pendant with diamond ruby flower on bloodstone
The pendant is reserved for G now, please do not buy until we release it. Thanks !
For sale a large 18K gold pendant featuring a rose flower entirely decorated with rose cut diamonds. There is a purplish red ruby in the center. The flower is piqué set on an oval-shaped, bloodstone panel, which conveys a deep green color with natural red pigments.
Throughout the history, roses are the symbol of romance and of love. Maybe a little bit shy, the head of the rose lowered slightly, as if she was thinking of someone. The pendant has a twisted woven gold frame which enlarges its size and adds more heartwarming color into the design.
The pendant is converted from a 19th century brooch. It keeps a slice of history and is full of emotions: the use of the different precious gemstones gives it a distinctive character and a unique look. It symbolises a bygone era when jewelry was handmade by the finest artisans.
The chain on the photo is not included into the listing.
