Pair of Victorian era 18K gold double diamond flower brooches
For sale a rare pair of two sparkling diamond flower brooches dated back to the mid 19th century, the Victorian era.
We’ve sold several beautiful flower brooches but it is the first time we carry a pair of them, which we believe, will bring you a double dose of joy and fun.
Each of the flower brooch is pavé set with countless rose cut diamonds. The different layers of the petals add volume into the design and contribute to an even more dazzling visual effect. We have the pleasure to hold them together in our hands, as they never fade and keep blooming to show the flower power.
True to many of the French jewels’ philosophy of easy elegance, these two diamond brooches are easy to wear and can be combined with other pieces or worn on their own. Styled as singles, they encourage you to mix with other jewels such as a fine long sautoir; Styled as a pair, they will stay happily together under a blazer or on an evening dress. You can also pin them on a ribbon to wear them as a bracelet.
The two brooches are first mounted in silver and then in 18K yellow gold, which is typical to the 19th century. They are hallmarked with the French eagle’s head for 18K gold at their backs on the pin.
These diamond flowers will be a wonderful addition to your antique jewelry collection and give you a fresh new look before the arrival of the spring.
