Magnificant 18K gold Rock Crystal and garnet pumpkin pendant

In front of us a true one-of-kind piece of jewelry! The pendant is made of a very large rock crystal cabochon – we’ve never seen such a big size of this shape! When holding it under the light, it turns the sharp lighting into a soft and gentle shimmer. The gemstone is skillfully carved in the shape of a pumpkin (or of a lantern). On the bottom of the rock crystal is decorated with a high dome garnet cabochon which shows an attractive red color. The pendant is mounted in 18K yellow gold.

One of the oldest materials known to man, transparent pure quartz, caleld rock crystal, is bringing a new clarity to high jewellery. Thanks to its transparent nature, rock crystal is the perfect window into a jewel. Ancient people believed that rock crystal was a living soul - the incarnation of a divine power lurking in its crystals - and this idea still prevails today.
