Curiously timeless

Lovely Victorian era 18K gold turquoise pearl clover earrings

€0

Since December is approaching, we are preparing ourselves with the jewelry made of the gemstone of the month: turquoise - a semi-precious gemstone which reveals symbolism that dates back to ancient times.

For sale a very lovely 19th century earrings made in 18K yellow gold, each features a clover with three greenish turquoise cabochons and a little white seed pearl in the center. The earrings are stamped with the French horse head hallmarks for 18k gold on each side. (The hallmark was used in France between the 1838 to 1919). The earrings have the lever back closing for pierced ears.

We love the smoothly rounded dome shape of the turquoises on the earrings, which set off turquoise’s color and texture beautifully. Clovers are a sign that others are thinking of you. They are often considered as a symbol of good luck and fortune. The symbolism of the earrings as well as the lovely design make them a lovely gift to offer or to receive.

The box in the photos is for display only and not for sale.
