Victorian era 18k Gold Pearl miniature portrait Ring

For sale a sweet Victorian era 18k gold enameled ring, featuring a hand painted portrait of a young girl. The colors of the miniature remain vivid after hundreds of years and the little girl looks very joyful. We love the details on the painting such as the pink ribbons on her hat and the bow tie around her waist. Her smile and innocent facial expressions recall us of the little girl living inside of us.

Around the miniature is a frame made of the natural seed pearls, which add lots of softness into the design. The back of the miniature is backed with 18K yellow gold.

This ring can be a very sweet gift to offer or an excellent piece to add into your antique jewelry collection!

Measurements and Condition

In overall good antique condition; slight traces of use on the gold.

Two tiny missings on the enamel on the left border next to the frame, which are hardly seen when the ring is worn. Please see photos.

Traces of three hallmarks on the shank of the ring (joint of the circles), the ring is acid tested for 18K gold.
