HENRI MIAULT Art Nouveau 18K ivy leaf brooch, Certified natural pearl
An adorable Art Nouveau–era ivy leaf brooch crafted in 18K gold, exquisitely sculpted in the organic style characteristic of the period. At its center rests a LFG certified natural baroque pearl, whose soft luster beautifully contrasts with the rich warmth of the gold. The pearl measures approximately 9.8 x 9.2 x 5.8 mm and is accompanied by its certification.
The brooch is signed MIAULT, by Henri Miault (1881–1960), renowned Art Nouveau sculptor celebrated for his vegetal creations featuring intertwined foliage, ears of wheat, and natural motifs.
In the language of flowers, ivy climbing along walls is said to adorn and protect them. For this reason, ivy has long been a symbol of devotion and attachment, often associated with the expression “I die, or I cling.”
