Edwardian 18k Guilloche Enamel pearl pocket watch pendant
Magnificent is the first word comes to mind when looking at this Edwardian era 18K solid gold pocket watch pendant. It has an elegant bluish gray guilloche enameling and is framed with the gentle natural seed pearls on both sides. The center of the pendant is decorated with a little flower. The pendant can be attached to a brooch holder or simply be worn on a gold chain. No matter how you want to style it, it stands out easily!
There are several hallmarks on the bale of the pendant including the French horse head hallmark for 18K gold. Please note that the watch function doesn’t work and needs to be revised.
Guilloche is a French term meaning engine turning. Guilloche enamel looks like engraved markings that keep repeating. Guilloche enameling was popular in France and Russia from the antique periods. However, it is also very delicate so intact historical piece is quite rare to find today. We are sure that this beautiful example will make his next care taker very happy.
The diamond bow brooch holder is sold in another listing in the shop. The chain on the photo is not included in the listing.
