Boxed Victorian era 18K gold agate angel cameo ring

Three dimensional sculptured, beautifully carved into agate in two colored reliefs, this lovely Victorian era 18K gold ring is a miniature work to allow your guardian angel to stay with you in a very special way.  We are impressed by the quality of the carving on such a limited space. The head of the angel measures only 6mm*5mm but you can see all the details such as his hair, his eyes, little nose and chubby cheeks. The ring is mounted in 18K yellow gold, and it comes with its very rare horse shoe shaped antique ring box.

In overall good antique condition. Slight traces of use on the metal and on the cameo.

The ring comes with its own antique ring box as shown on the photo.

No hallmark is found so the ring is acid tested for 18K gold.
