Art Deco era platinum 18K gold diamond pearl brooch
Geometric, elegant and extra sparkling, here for sale a stunning French vintage brooch from the Art Deco era. The brooch is entirely pavé set with 73 diamonds in rose cut style with 3 important ones in the center. The diamonds are mounted in platinum and the brooch is mounted in 18K white gold.
The largest rose cut diamond in the center measures 5mm in diameter and it has an estimated weight of approximately 0.4cts. The two diamonds next to it measure 4mm in diameter. The total estimated weight of the three diamonds is 0.95cts. Two round white pearls are added on the two sides, balancing the design with their feminine shape and soft hue. The brooch has a delicate millegrain platinum frame, which was very popular at the beginning of the 20th century with the trombone closure system at the back.
Forgotten for decades, the brooch makes their coming back as a must have and on-trend accessory recently. This wonderful and timeless diamond brooch can be worn on a jacket or shoulder of a dress during the day, and to anchor more glittering outfit in the evening.
It is truly a “best diamonds” piece which can be passed down from generation to generation.
The antique box in the video is for display only. The brooch will be sent in a brand new jewelry box.
