Antique 18K gold Augis Love Medal
This rare French 18K yellow gold love medal by Augis features our favorite early font, seen only on the earliest love medals from the late 19th to early 20th century—the first we’ve ever found in this style.
Inspired by the French poetry, it bears the romantic phrase “+ qu’hier – que demain” (“I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow”). The minus sign is set with rubies and the plus with rose cut diamonds, symbolizing growing love. Its double-engraved wreath frame is a rare detail, and the back remains blank—ready for personalization.
A timeless token of love and history, signed with “A.A” for Augis and “Deposé” on the back, with French 18K eagle hallmark and “AA” maker’s mark on the bale.
