For sale a 19th century, 18K gold, French dormeuse (sleeper) earrings, featuring two sweet daisy flowers, adorned with a total of 18 rose-cut diamonds. Every diamond is bezel-set with a closed back. The earrings have the front to back closing for pierced ears and they are stamped with French horse head hallmark for 18K gold. (in use in France between the year 1838 and 1919).
