Lovely 18K gold Tiger’s Eye and garnet pumpkin pendant

For sale a lovely pendant made of an exquisite tiger’s eye. The gemstone is skillfully carved in the shape of a pumpkin (or of a lantern). On the bottom of the tiger’s eye fitted a garnet cabochon with a deep and saturated red color. The chatoyancy effect changes when the pendant is oriented under different angles, making its appearance even more magic. The pendant is mounted in 18K yellow gold.

We like its silky surface, cute form and chubby little body! The quality of the workmanship is excellent as well: the lines of carving are clean and even all around.

Tiger’s-eye is one of the top-selling phenomenal gems. Varying from translucent to opaque, it comes in warm earth tones that include brown, brownish yellow, and reddish brown. Its main distinguishing characteristic is its “eye,” called chatoyancy. Good toughness makes tiger’s-eye a great gem for everyday wear as well.

This pendant will be a very special piece to be treasured by its new caretaker!
