Antique 18K gold rose cut diamond star medal pendant

For sale a very beautiful French made 18K yellow gold medal featuring a diamond star made of a sparkling rose cut diamonds. The diamond weights approximately 0.12ct and it is flush set into the surface of the pendant.

Next to the star are engraved with beautiful monograms particularly a “M”. The medal is stamped with the French owl hallmark for 18K gold on the bale. The back of the medal is not engraved so it can be personalized by its future caretaker.

Stars have been considered as lucky omens, guiding lights, and powerful symbols of achievement and happiness.

The chain on the photo is not included in the listing.

In overall good antique condition. Slight traces of use and scratches on the surface of the medal.
