Antique 18K gold Etruscan Revival amphora drop earrings

The earring features one dropping amphora linked by three fine gold chains to an acorn on the top, on each side. This type of jewelry is the reflect of the revived interest of the jewellers in the Greek and Etruscan classicism during the middle of the 19th century. The earrings drop gracefully, also in respond to the hairstyles that required hair to be brushed to the back of the head and the low décolletages of ball dresses throughout the 1860s and 1870s. Measurements and condition
In overall good antique condition, slight traces of use and oxidation on the gold. Please refer to the photo. Small dents on the amphora which are absolutely not visible when they are worn.
