French 18K gold rose cut diamond by cross You and Me ring
What an elegant and beautiful French antique “Toi et Moi” ring! (“you and me” in French)
The textured yellow gold contrasts the platinum and the sparkling rose cut diamonds in both color and texture, and its flowing soft design blends with the gem’s unique cut.
The ring was intelligently crafted: the yellow gold surrounded the two central diamonds make them look like two lovely daisy flowers. Each “flower” is beautifully shouldered by another 5 rose cut diamonds on each side. There are in total 12 diamonds on the ring with a total weight estimated at circa 0.82ct. The diamonds add lots of brilliance and sparkle, while the bi-colored gold and platinum combination makes the design even more special. The ring is dated back to the early 20th century.
Meaning “you and me” in French, Toi et moi refers to a ring with two gems that sit side by side or close to each other, symbolizing two souls becoming one.
