Art Nouveau era Lady Pansy 18K gold diamond mirror pendant

€1,300

Only 1 piece in stock!

Flowing lines and curves marked the Art Nouveau style, with women and nature as its primary subjects.

For sale a very rare French Art Nouveau era 18K gold pendant, featuring a lady on a pansy flower. The pendant has a slid clasp on its bottom, which allows it to open, and hiding behind is a heart shaped mirror. What a lovely and unexpected surprise! The back of the pendant is not engraved so it can be personalized by its next caretaker.

The young lady has a necklace made of 5 rose cut diamonds. On the leaves of the pansy flower, there are 6 other diamond accents equally in rose cut style. The pendant is dated back to the early 20th century, the Art Nouveau era.

We adore the unusual mirror hided in this pendant, the pansy’s symbolism and the relief of the engraving, all remind us of a refined little sculpture which you can worn on your neck.

It looks beautiful on a ribbon but can also be attached on a gold chain!

The gold chain on the photo is not included in the listing.
