Art Deco era 18K white gold "Target" diamond necklace

€1,280

Only 1 piece in stock!

For sale a very beautiful and elegant diamond necklace and pendant from the Art Deco era (1920s/1930s).

The pendant features a delicate oval motif made of white diamonds. The central diamond is cut in transition style and it has an estimated weight of approximately 0.2ct. It is encircled by rose cut diamonds on two layers and the whole motif is suspended by fine links which allows it to move. The diamonds on the mounting have an estimated weight of approximately 0.17ct. This type of design was very popular during the Art Deco era under the name of “target”: their circular appearance with radiating central circle resembles the heart of the archery target.

The pendant and its necklace are both made in 18K gold with French eagle’s head hallmarks. A security chain is attached on the necklace as well.

The lightness, the simplicity and the geometric design of the jewelry from the Art Deco era left their marks on this necklace; Its very chic “target” style, fluidity in movement and clean lines make this diamond necklace a timeless piece of jewelry to offer or to collect.
