The Edwardian era jewelry were characterized by a lightness and delicacy which had their roots in 18th century jewelry and goldsmith.

For sale a perfect example of the ring from that period. The ring features a delicate lattice design with a frame of 16 diamonds in transitional cutting style (between the Old European cut and the modern brilliant cut). Note how all the settings have millegrain decoration. The diamonds show very good clarity and they have an icy appearance which adds lots of dazzling. The pearl in the center measures 5mm in diameter. It has a light pinky tone on the white overall body color with an excellent luster. All together, they look like a sun with its sun rays. The ring is stamped with the French owl hallmark for 18K gold on the shank.

This beautiful cluster-style ring is a timeless classical jewelry but it also evolves with advances in setting techniques. The use of the pearl and diamonds re-defined the white-on-white look, which showcases the delicacy and elegance of the Edwardian period.

The ring is easily resizable at buyer’s cost, please contact us before you pass the order.
