Victorian era 18K gold diamond ruby turning flower photo locket pendant
Keep a little diamond flower dancing close to your heart, together with a treasure from a beloved person is among the most romantic things we know. This sentimental 18K gold locket pendant made during the 19th century speaks of endurance, memory and true affection.
The little flower on the locket is made of 9 rose cut diamonds. The mechanism allows it to “dance” when you move its petals. (Please see the video to show you). There are 11 white natural seed pearls surrounded the flower. Pearls are the symbol of purity and innocence, while diamonds are the symbol of eternity.
The central motif is highlighted by an elegant black enamel and finished with three pinkish red color rubies on the top. There is a glass window to separate the inside into two compartments. The pendant is mounted in 18K yellow gold and is stamped with the French owl hallmarked for 18K gold on its bale. The locket opens and closes well.
For those who have a weakness for sentimental jewelry, this pendant is a perfect example with symbolism and motifs that recall the poetry of love.
The chain on the photo is not included in the listing.
