Vintage 18K white gold emerald diamond bow knot pendant

Traditionally seen as a symbol of love and marriage, I love how this bow pendant reinterprets the classic bow motif in a more contemporary way with the use of 18K white gold and centered with an emerald in a vivid green color. The bow is accented by sparkling diamonds, adding lots of lightness to the design.

I've imagined that behind the pendant is to to remember something - or someone - you feel close to through the symbol of a bow. The design is fluid and elegant which makes the pendant an absolute day and night piece!

It can be worn on a ribbon as well to create a timeless look.

Emerald’s lush green has soothed souls and excited imaginations since antiquity. Its name comes from the ancient Greek word for green, “smaragdus.” Rome’s Pliny the Elder described emerald in his Natural History, published in the first century AD: “...nothing greens greener” was his verdict. He described the use of emerald by early lapidaries, who “have no better method of restoring their eyes than by looking at the emerald, its soft, green color comforting and removing their weariness and lassitude.” Even today, the color green is known to relieve stress and eye strain.
